Sue Simpson BSc (Hons) Chiro MMCA

Sue trained at the McTimoney College of Chiropractic following a successful 20 year career as firstly an
aerospace software engineer and then as an IT and business consultant. She was encouraged to train as a chiropractor by her own chiropractor after he had treated her successfully for the relief of migraine headaches.

Sue is trained in the McTimoney technique of chiropractic. This technique provides a gentle approach to chiropractic. For further details about the McTimoney technique go to the McTimoney Chiropractic Association website www.mctimoney-chiropractic.org. Sue is patient focused and firmly believes in taking a multi-disciplinary, integrated approach to the treatment of her patients. With this in mind she established The Fir Tree Clinic, which aims to provide not just pain relief, but to take the patient through rehabilitation and provide patient education in order to help prevent the problem from re-occurring. Sue welcomes the opportunity to work alongside the patient's GP throughout treatment. She is registered with the General Chiropractic Council, is a Full member of the McTimoney Chiropractic Association and a member of the Integrated Health Associates. In support of chiropractic, Sue also uses Trigger Point Therapy and Soft Tissue Release when appropriate for the patient. These techniques work well in complementing chiropractic.  Sue has a particular interest in neurological disorders and in June 2006 had a paper entitled "The Palliative Care of a Post-Polio Syndrome Patient" published in the international journal, Clinical Chiropractic. Loran Northey GQHP, GHR Reg. Lic Mstr NLP

A change of direction after years of management roles saw Loran completing training in childcare and further management/coaching. Loran then went overseas and into the Tour operator industry for more than a decade. Being mentor and on-hand coach meant an early interest in the Human mind and its dynamics.

Amateur studies and interests were pursued in NLP, Psychology and Coaching until a return to the UK in 2004, where Loran trained with Valerie Austin, (possibly the world’s best female hypnotherapist and hypnotist) and qualified as an Advanced Structured Hypnotherapist. The love of what this taught her and further curiosity, led to more training the following year with Paul McKenna Training Ltd (trained by the leaders in the field of NLP-Michael Neill, John La Valle, Paul McKenna and Dr. Richard Bandler-NLP Co-Creator) with the Practioners and Master NLP Practitioners training. You can find out more about Loran on her own website www.lorannorthey.co.uk
